It is divided into two styles: cold-pressed unrefined or hot-pressed refined. Cold-pressed unrefined avocado oil retains its natural color and flavor; hot-pressed refined avocado oil is usually bleached and deodorized, and has a poorer flavor. Numerous studies have shown that avocado oil can effectively reduce bad cholesterol and lower triglyceride levels.
